One of the most important things you can do when applying for a job is to practice due diligence and make sure events in your past do not sink what can be a great future. It’s not a question of if they will check but when!
Maybe events in prior years resulted in you being arrested for misdemeanor or felony crimes that you were innocent of but still charged. Are you sure it was removed from your record? Just because law enforcement agencies and courts tell you events will be taken off your record, doesn’t mean it always happens. You need to check for yourself before an employer does the checking for you and finds something that should not have been there in the first place. Avoid having to explain something in your past that you should not have to.
Many states have laws that afford people the right to have a record expunged after a certain period of time. Please check with your states Attorney General for more information.
This is not a quick check of outdated databases. We will check the court records of the jurisdiction you request and report the results back to you. Most results are returned within 24 hours. This will allow you to make sure there are no surprises at your next job interview.
